What To Expect

You can expect to stay at our Clinic for up to two to three hours. However, the abortion procedure itself usually takes less than five minutes. The remainder of your stay is spent completing medical forms, meeting with our counsellor, discussing all of your concerns and post-procedure recovery time. Important Information

Please abstain from heavy meals for 8 hrs prior to your procedure. You may have a light snack (i.e. toast and clear fluids) up to 4 hrs before your appointment.

Because of the narcotic medication you will be receiving, you cannot drive to or from your appointment and you cannot drive for the remainder of the day. Please arrange to have someone drive you if possible or take public transportation/taxi to our clinic.
